Thank you so much for visiting BillPederson.Org. This is where you will be able to obtain details regarding my Dad’s current progress in his fight for his life against Pancreatic Cancer.

These updates are jam packed with information, primary for our own reflection and reference, but also to keep you in the loop as well as reach out to those who may be experiencing similar struggles in his or her own life.

Everyone has their own battles, and most often when we actually share those hurdles with others we learn we are not alone. Feel free to forward the information you receive here to others whom you think may benefit.

On November 1st, 2011, my Dad, Bill, was diagnosed with Stage Four Pancreatic Cancer. Specifically, a Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor (pNET), which metastasized to his liver. Upon this diagnosis our world was turned upside down and we immediately moved from Maui, Hawai’i, to Seattle, Washington in efforts to provide my Dad with the best treatment possible.

He was doing well, considering, the first year or so; however, March of 2013, everything drastically changed and my otherwise healthy and strong Dad has been hospitalized 6x since then, suffers chronic abdominal pain, has dropped as low as 120 pounds and is now more than ever, literally fighting for his life.
